Why Tree Removal in West Lothian?

If there is space and no chance of any damage, we will look to "fell" the tree in one piece, which is hugely satisfying. There's always someone that has to shout, "Timber."
More often than not, though, there is no necessary space to fell the tree, and we commence dismantling the tree. Essentially this means we remove the tree piece by piece until we get to ground level. Getting to the tree could simply require a ladder if straightforward or may require scaffold of some type. We can inspect the access needs prior to any work commencing.
We generally use a tree cutting saw or a petrol chainsaw for removal. However, in some instances, there are occasions when noise is a mitigating factor and we can, if requested, use an electric chainsaw.

If you have decided to have the tree stump removed, then we would perform that activity too.
Once complete, we would remove all parts of the tree or trees and transport them off-site. You can, of course, keep the tree for further use. Please advise before the event if we don't have to take away the tree.

A: We would never recommend cutting down any trees if they were healthy. If the trees are dying or are causing a hazard and are not affected by a Tree Preservation Order then it is unlikely you will need permission for removal.
Is there any law against cutting trees?
Is it expensive to remove a tree?
A: This depends on the size, width, access, whether you want the materials removed etc. A small and straight forward tree cutting and removal will obviously be cheaper than a larger, expansive tree situated in a hard to access area. We are more than happy to advise.
